Hi,
The lower back pain is suggestive of cervical ripening and dilatation. The discharge is often seen as a result of blood mixed with mucus, the blood being issued by the separation of the membranes as preparation for labor. All this means you are setting into labor. Please watch for draining of membranes, bleeding through vagina, pain radiating along the thighs, fetal movements and report to your health care provider for further management. Take as much rest as possible in left lateral position and have plenty of fluids. Wish you safe motherhood.
