What Causes Mucus In Stool And Anal Pain Post A Colonoscopy?

My stool has been like slime or mucus . It comes out before I make it to bathroom. I had a colonoscopy about a month ago I had a pollup but my doctor said it got it all. It was the kind that can cause cancer. I was having some pain after the procedure Still having pain off and on. I m really concerned about the bowel movement Should I be concerned?
