What Causes Mucus Loosening, Chest Pain, Tired When Taking Z Pack?
I started taking the z pack last Thursday for bronchitis. I feel that it has loosened the mucus up some but im still not coughing up anything. my chest hurt. i feel tired and weak some. im hurting in my back and side. i was all finished with my medicine Sunday. should i worry?????
As long as you are not having a fever, and able to breathe alright, I wouldn't be concerned. You likely have a virus that is causing your bronchitis, and it can normally take up to a few weeks to fully recover from these kinds of viruses. I would just watch out for a fever (anything above 100.4 F or 38.0 C), in which case you may have another bacterial infection, which would need another antibiotic.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
