What Causes Multiple Stones In The Left Salivary Gland?

I had a multiple stones in my left side silavary gland since 20 yrs & doctor has removed my gland in 2012,But after operation the pathologist suggest possibility of low grade B Cell lymphoma (EMZBCL).Due to this doctor had given very low grade radiation(only) in operated area for 25 days & no medication is given. Now I am fine in 2014 but my question is that is there any side effects of radiation in future?

Geriatrics Specialist 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for asking.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. Low grade radiation was given to remove any residual tumor cells in the resected region surrounding the tumor.
2. Low grade radiation is not known to cause any cancer.
3. Do follow up, if you find any swelling in that area. Chances are very low.
Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
