Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
what could be causing the pain in my left leg. It like a constant ache in the upper muscles of my leg. feels like a constant pulling and pain. I have not been doing anything different other than wearing some different shoes. At night it shoots up my back when I m lying down.
It might be a musculoskeletal pain. As the first line of management, you can try analgesics like Acetaminophen or Tramadol for pain relief. Also, apply warm compresses and take bed rest for few days. Most probably symptoms will settle in a couple of days.
If symptoms persist, you can consult an orthopedician and get evaluated.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
General & Family Physician
