My husband began experiencing muscle pain following the flu shot three weeks ago. Pain areas include his lower back, side and stomach. He has had days of less pain and discomfort but now seems to be feeling generally worse. No fever. No vomiting or diarrhea. Normal appetite. He is 61 years of age.
Dear patient Flu is caused by virus. So when our body is affected by virus it spreads to whole body and leads to muscle inflammation and myalgia which is reflected as Generalized body pain including back , upper and lower limbs. So you need not to worry and wait for few days till flu symptoms decreases. Your back and leg pain will disappear with flu. Meanwhile start tab ultracet and tab ibuprofen twice a day for 5 days.
