What Causes Muscle Spasm From Arms Up To Shoulder And Neck?
What causes a muscle spasm like feeling on the outer side of both my arms and up to both my shoulder and the lower sides of my neck? It is not really painful but more like tightening. I finally took two adviles that relieved me later however this happens around every few months and normally does not last a long time.
Hello,Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that you are suffering from muscular pain and spasm. Spasm is always in response to pain , body try to keep itself in least painful posture by muscle spasm. Treatment of it is rest and analgesics (diclofenac three times a day after meals). It may take a week time to relief. However you can get your cervical spinex ray done to exclude neck related cause.I think your query answered . You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it.I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query. Take care.
