Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Muscle Spasms On Temple And Tight Muscles In Neck?
I have muscle spasms on the left temple. I also get pressure behind nose. The feelings make me feel like I am going to pass out and definitely Ioopy (not dizzy - but not all there either - hard to concentrate or function when they occur). I have had a CAT scan and seen ENT docs and several ER and family docs. No evidence of sinus issues or any other issues. Blood results look good...only notable thing that they say isn t very notable is that my inflammation number is 17, just 2 points above the normal range...doctors don t seem to think there is any relation. I also have tight muscles in my neck and can hear small cracks at even slight movements. Any ideas that can point me in the right direction? I am 39 yo female at 156 lb, 5 ft 4 in.

Physical Therapist or Physiotherapist, Sonia Dhawan's Response
Hi,
Quite a lot of cases are coming up these days related to wrong working posture. If you have long working hours on computer, there's definitely something wrong with your posture. Since your blood work and scans are normal it is nothing pathological in nature more probably your muscle imbalance. A visit to a chiropractor should benefit you.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
