What Causes Nagging Cough For An Year?

i have this nagging cough for over a year. i can't seem to get rid of it.what can i do to get it to stop. i have gone a an allergy dr they ran tests and give me a clean bill of health. no one seems to be able to diagnois whats causing my cough. plz help

Hi thanks for contacting HCM...

Cough can occur when irritation to respiratory Tract occur....
If you have acid reflux disease then by acid irritation to throat cough can occurs...
Omeprazole given for it...

Second bronchitis like condition can lead cough...
Chest x ray done...If bronchitis present broncho vascular marking will be prominent...

If you have smoking habit then irritation can lead cough
..
If needed spirometry and chest x ray useful...
Sometime cough can be psychological if all found normal..

Consult pulmonologist for detail physical examination..
