What Causes Nausa And Burning Sensation Around Kidney Area?
i am feeling nauseous, burning feeling in my kidney area, acid taste in throat, bouts of blurred vision and no energy. my heart palpatates off & on and i just feel unwell. I m 73yrs and I had my gallbladder removed 3 weeks ago. My blood pressure has been unusually high for a few weeks and I m taking 2.5 mg felodipine a day. I had these symptons before my op and had hoped they would be gone. My doc has no idea why my blood pressure is high plus I have headaches and a feeling of unsteadiness. Any ideas please?
Nausea and burning sensation need to be checked by physical examination and various investigations.
It could be kidney stone, urinary infection etc.
You should go for blood counts,ESR, urinalysis and ultrasound KUB region.
Your blood pressure is high but what was the last reading. The cause of high blood pressure could be atherosclerosis or high lipids in blood or obesity or stress or family history.
You should continue with felodipine and will be required combination of two antihypertensive like amlodipine with losartan or hydrochlorothiazide.
Meanwhile, you can take symptommatic treatment for nausea and burning from some local GP.
Consult your treating physician for hypertension management.
