What Causes Nausea After The Treatment Of An Eye Infection?
I have had an eye infection for the past few days that started out with a white pus-like discharge and escalated to a very painful red eye. After a few antibiotic doses the pain is mostly gone but its still red and i'm very sleepy and nauseated. Any suggestions?
usually isolated eye infection will not cause nausea. if drowsiness and nausea is associated with vomiting giddiness and blurred vision then some brain pathology can exist. sometimes severe eye infection may cause increase in eye pressures which may lead to nausea and vomiting. since your infection is resolving get your pressures checked once. nausea and drowsiness can be due to side effect of antibiotic and pain killers
