What Causes Nausea And Excessive Salivation While Suffering From Diverticulosis?

This is a 2nd such occurrence of nausea then excessive salivation- I can feel on the left side of my body one of my organs moving as the saliva rises, the dry heave starts and out comes belching. I have no pain nor stomach distress like excess acid. This happened this morning as I was waking and then later on this afternoon on a empty stomach, too. I have had a few occasions within the past 6 mos where I ve been awakened by this movement of whatever organ it is and the nausea , salivation . I am 63yo female . I have diverticular disease which is being well managed and colonoscopy w/ in the past 9 mos which showed good health there.

The given symptoms could be due to acid peptic disease, hyper secretion of acid may cause the excessive salivation, beside the stomatitis, first i would like to advise you to try PPI (Pronton pump inhibitor ) and Tab Omeprazole with Domperidone once in day, try to avoid spicy food, oily fried food, but is better to see the dentist, hope this information helps, take care.
