Pathologist and Microbiologist, Dr. Jyothi B L's Response
Hi Thanks for your query. Based on your query, my opinion is 1. Nausea and loss of appetite are vague symptoms and difficult to point out at the exact cause as there are many conditions which can cause them. 2. If your blood workup is fine, then get a ultrasound of abdomen done to find out for any gastrointestinal causes for your concern. It will help to rule out malignancy of git. 3. Sometimes gastritis and peptic ulcers can cause these symptoms. Its important to consider them as some of differential diagnosis. 4. You can try taking one course of antacids with antiemetic after discussing with your consulting doctor and then Get a endoscopic examination to rule out peptic ulcer. 5. Meanwhile try to take short small feeds which might motivate you to eat.take lifestyle changes too. Hope this helps. Regards
