What Causes Nausea And Numbness Across Chest Followed By A Diarrhea?

I had nausea and my hands began to go numb and soft. The numbness spread across my chest and stomach and then to my legs and feet. I thought I d need to visit a hospital. After a while, it went away and returned, followed by very watery but painless diarrhea. No vomiting (thank goodness). What exactly is this?

Hi,
Welcome to health care magic,

I do not think there is much to worry as this numbness may happen due to short nerve compression and generally gets subsided by itself or by taking over the counter analgesic like diclofenac and pregablin-M as a symptommatic relief.

Now,If this numbness remains persistent and lasting longer then it will require medical attention for which you will need to consult physician for clinical examination and nerve conduction studies to rule out chances of nerve palsy.

Your nausea and painless diarrhoea could be due to stomach upset for which you can take symptomatic treatment like ondasetron, prebiotics, antispasmodics and antibiotics if required. Your local doctor or GP may prescribe it.

Regards,
