Hello,
I have gone through your query and understood the concern. If you attained a natural period after the abortion, and if you had the confirmation of a completed abortion, this spotting is to be investigated further. A trans-vaginal sonogram, a blood test for pregnancy and if necessary, a hormone profile help to clarify the issue. If you did not have any clinical confirmation of completion of the abortion, you have to think of possible retained products. Please see a specialist for proper evaluation and further management. Hope this helps.
