What Causes Nausea And Spotting On And Off After Abortion?
Hello , I had a medical abortion on June 12 , 2014. I was bleeding for 2 weeks and then it stopped and I was feeling normal again. I ve had PROTECTED sex after the bleeding. Now I m spotting off and on and I m waiting for my period to come. I ve been also having this really anxious type of nautious feeling in my upper stomach I don t know what that is. But I m just really anxious to get my period
Hello, I have gone through your query and understood the concern. If you attained a natural period after the abortion, and if you had the confirmation of a completed abortion, this spotting is to be investigated further. A trans-vaginal sonogram, a blood test for pregnancy and if necessary, a hormone profile help to clarify the issue. If you did not have any clinical confirmation of completion of the abortion, you have to think of possible retained products. Please see a specialist for proper evaluation and further management. Hope this helps.
