What Causes Nausea, Delay In Periods And Constipation?

I am 17 years old. I just started depot-Vera in August. I have always had irregular periods but had until this month been getting it regularly. I missed my period and it has been 14 days late. I get nauseous at night but not enough to puke and in the mornings I have been constipated for the past few days. I did have unprotected sex, but I am on birth control. Am I pregnant or could it be something else.

hi.

noted history of irregular menses, intake of OCP, delayed menses and recent unprotected sexual contact. a confirmatory pregnancy testing and an ultrasound will be recommended in ruling out pregnancy. a consult with an OB-gynecologist is also best for a thorough physical examination and clinical evaluation. other diagnostics and management will be directed accordingly.

hope this helps.

good day!!
