What Causes Nausea Followed By Dizziness?

My husband had a fainting spell this morning. He said he was nauseous then room spun around and then he fainted. He has been under a great deal of stress and has had only a few hours of sleep for sometime. He heats very healthy no fast foods etc. he is committed to bed at normal hours ensuring at least 7-8 hrs. Could this he happened due to the extreme stress load and lack of proper sleep?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Is he hypertension?? How old is he??
Since when he is suffering from?? nausea and dizziness may be due to hypotension or TIA or anemia or myocardial infarction etc.
Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.
Please let him take to hospital and get it done, ECG, CT brain , hemoglobin, electrolyte and treated accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
