What Causes Nausea, Headache And Irregular Periods?

I have been feeling tired, causing me to sleep longer and take naps throughout the day. I m getting headaches everyday and cramping for two weeks just not everyday day. I also notice that my back hurts more the usual. Had unprotected sex. The only thing is that my cycle isn t normal so I m not sure when I ovulate. Took two home pregnancy test and both came out negative.

Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern. In the current scenario, since your ovulation status cannot be established, I would ask you to get an estimation of the serum beta-hCG titres to confirm/exclude pregnancy as this is more sensitive and specific. This should be followed by a trans-vaginal/pelvic sonogram to know the status of the pelvic organs. If negative, you are experiencing symptoms of hormone imbalance and this should be corrected after appropriate evaluation. A general examination also is needed to exclude other causes like infection, anemia etc. Hope this helps.
