What Causes Nausea Post Citalopram Intake?
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advise. Mild nausea is common side effect associated with citalopram. If it is not tolerable you can take domperidone 10 mg 10-15 minutes before meal. Usually drugs like citalopram (antidepressant) takes 4-5 week before giving full response, so there is no need to worry. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards Dr. Hiren
