What Causes Nausea Post Citalopram Intake?

I am taking 10mg of citalpram in the morning around 9a after breakfast & within 30 minutes I am feeling nausea & weakness & around 2p & 6p I am taking clonazepam .5 mg but continue to feel the same way. Yes I am not having the anxiety but feel so sick I can not work or function. Do I need a different meds?

Mild nausea is common side effect associated with citalopram.

If it is not tolerable you can take domperidone 10 mg 10-15 minutes before meal.

Usually drugs like citalopram (antidepressant) takes 4-5 week before giving full response, so there is no need to worry.
