What Causes Nausea, Severe Pains In Belly/abdomen, Fever, Period Like Cramps?

I in the last few days have experienced some weird symptoms on Monday I felt fine and dandy when I got up at about 10:30am I all of sudden felt nausea and had really severe pains in my belly/abdominal area then after work I all of a sudden struck a fever and after a few hours it went a way. Then yeaterday after work I noticed I had started my period but I had just had one the first week of February and I'm still having the pains any clue on what it might be causing this?

Hello,
As per your symptoms, you should first exclude any pelvic infection through a physical exam by a specialist, sonogram, urinalysis and blood counts; pregnancy also should be excluded if you are sexually active. Hormonal assays may be done if no pelvic cause can be detected, though fever is a rare coincidence with hormonal causes. Pelvic infections can be treated by oral antibiotic, vaginal applications, anti-inflammatory drugs and local hygiene. Pain can be relieved through antispasmodics. Hope this helps.
