Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted the history of Nausea, loose stools, metallic taste in mouth not helped by plenty of oral fluids, stomach gurgling, discomfort and related problems like flatulence. All these problems are due to gastroenteritis. The bad taste is due to toxins produced by bacteria that caused gastroenteritis to be circulating in blood and filtered by salivary glands to be secreted into the oral cavity to cause the typical taste that you have and hence will continue till the infection is controlled. Hence you should see your Physician, get clinical evaluation, investigation and proper antibiotic, metronidazole and probiotics with symptomatic and supportive therapy like PPI like Omeprazole, Domperidone and antacids.
