Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been having extreme nausea, smell aversion, spells of chills and hot spells with the feeling of having slight sunburn face, I do not have a fever. This has been going on for the past 4 days. I took a pregnancy test on day 26 of my cycle and said negative. Could I have the flu without a fever?
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, the given symptoms may not be indicative of any obvious illness of course it must be the symptoms, I would advise you to just wait for couple of days and it will be fine on its own, it may not be due to flue or something to take with pregnancy, but I would advise if it is the history of amenorrhea then ultrasonography is must it is just to confirmed the conception, other tests are not reliable, symptoms could be due to dyspepsia, hope this information helps.
