Hello, Thanks for choosing health care magic for posting your query. I have gone through your question in detail and I can understand what you are going through. During periods there are lot many hormonal changes that take place. These hormonal changes involve changes in the levels of oestrogen and progesterone and these changes may cause headaches. Also certain migraines get precipitated with menstrual cycles. Initially you may take paracetamol and if the pain persists then you may need treatment like migraine. In that case flunarizine and propranolol maybe taken for a few months and given a trial. Also get a blood hemoglobin done as anemia can also cause headache. Anemia may increase in severity during periods causing more headaches. Hope I am able to answer your concerns. If you have any further query, I would be glad to help you.
