What Causes Nauses And Stomach Pain After Taking Prevacid For Ulcer Treatment?
I was diagnosed with a small ulcer when I was scoped in April. The doctor put me on prevacid for one month. The last two or three weeks off and on I have felt nasea and sometime a dull pain in my stomach. Mylanta liquid seems to relieve it. Is my ulcer acting up?
Any drug may have side effects like nausea or vomiting. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Take tablet ondansetron twice a day for five days.
If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and do upper GI endoscopy then treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
