What Causes Neck Cracking?

I get cracking in my neck. I find it more severe when i have been sitting in the same position for so time and then when i turn my head i get some severe cracking and an uncomfortable sorness to follow. I am 67 years of age and put this down to that. Is there anything i can do that may ease these symtoms?

Dear neck craking sound due sudden conversion of joint fluid into air produce craking sound. Up to some limit it is OK and won't cause much problems.

But if practice vigorously may cause pain giddiness etc. Neck craking cause endorphins release eese some pain. Some time cervical spondylosis patients it may cause more problem.

Please consult your your neuro surgeon /orthopedician for further guidance.
