Hi,

Typhoid fever, a bacterial infection usually presents with symptoms like high grade fever with chills, sweating, dry cough and headache. Also muscle pain is common resulting in body and neck pain and abdominal pain. Typhoid induced weight loss, weakness and dehydration can last for months even after recovery.

I would advise you to:
- Complete the full course of IV and oral antibiotics. If are not well even after the treatment then chances for being a carrier which demands long-term antibiotic treatment.
- Take rest & hydrate yourself nicely with plenty of fluids intake to correct the dehydration from fever induced water loss from the body.
- Have bland diet for few days & maintain hygiene, avoid outside foods.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
