What Causes Neck Pain Radiating To Scalp, Back, Chest And Hands?

Neck pain, at night, radiates up into scalp, down to mid back, around front of chest, down arms into hands. Without muscle relaxes pain is excruciating. Can happen when walking , rolling over in bed, vacuuming or dreaming of activity. Heat helps to relax and ease.

Hi,Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that you are having neck pain which is relieved by muscle relaxant.You may be cervical disc prolapse or cervical spondylosis.You can take analgesic such as diclofenac for pain relief. Muscle relaxant may be of use. Further treatment depend upon diagnosis by MRI and x ray of cervical spine. You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it.
