What Causes Needle Pricking Sensation All Over The Body?
I am a female with per. neuropathy, fibromalgia. The neuropathy, poly, I have had for quite a few years and it has spread all the way from the feet to the middle of my stomach. It is also in my hands real bad. Right now they are beet red in the palms of my hands and terrible burning in them My skin is so sensative that my husband or anyone cannot touch me. My doctors have failed to find out why this s happening. The pain is terrible. I also just had my 4th back surgery. Some nights the pain is so bad that all I can do is cry, I can t sleep.Right now it is terrible. The burning is my hands i new. They are so red and hot I can t stand it. I feels like someone is poking needles or sticks down my fingernails. Can you help? .
Hi. As per your case history you are having symptoms due to neuropathy. My treatment advice is - 1. Take good nutritious diet full of green leafy vegetables and milk. 2. Apply a soothing lotion like calamine lotion on affected region twice daily. 3. Take a vitamin b12 supplement once daily for 3 months. 4. Other treatment options are oral gabapentin, carabamazepine and amitryptiline taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
