Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Fuchs dystrophy is an eye disease in which the innermost layer of cells in the cornea undergoes degenerative changes. This cell layer, called the
endothelium, is responsible for maintaining proper amount of fluid in the cornea.
The endothelium keeps the cornea clear for good vision by pumping out excess fluid that could cause corneal swelling. Fuchs dystrophy symptoms include:
- Glare and sensitivity to light
- Eye pain
- Foggy or blurred vision
- Seeing colored halos around lights
- Difficulty seeing at night
- Poor vision upon awakening that may improve later in the day
- A feeling that something is in your eye (foreign body sensation)

Therefore, I do not think that she has the suspected condition.
However, I think she may be facing
fibromyalgia, a nerve condition associated with severe myalgia and pains and headaches. And all the tests are considerably normal in this condition. So, I think you are dealing with fibromyalgia.
This may be a flare-up of the existing fibromyalgia that you have already said she has.
Duloxetine amitriptyline cyclobenzaprine are some very good medicines for fibromyalgia. Please meet your
neurologist for an adequate prescription.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
