Both of my toe nails have a new nail growing underneath. This is the second time for both of them to have a new nail growing. Should I be concerned? Also, on my right toe I have this little black thing on the corner but whenever I try taking it off its red kinda like blood. Is that a type of fungus?
You are suffering from onychomycosis which is a fungal infection. You must apply topical antifungal cream like clotrimazole over the affected area. Oral antifungal tablets like Terbinafine can be used in pulse therapy for 7 days in a month for 3 months.Amrolfine nail lacquer can also be used once a week.Consult your dermatologist regarding the above mentioned therapy. Regards
