Hi

There are a lot of possible reasons for a newborn not to cry at birth. Most of the time, this occurs because of compression of the fetus at birth. This can reduce the breathing and reduced brain function.

When it is reduced, the baby would not be able to breathe. It is best to trust the doctor and get her treated by a neonatologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
