Hi,I am Dr. Andrew Rynne (Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have severe night sweats that cause me to change my night clothes and sheets several times a night. This is a recent development following trauma. I am 63 years old and went through menopause years ago and never experienced night sweats to this extreme. My thyroid has been checked, I have normal blood pressure, keep myself at a healthy weight and exercise daily. Dr. put me on Celexa 30 days ago saying that low serotonin maybe the cause. It hasn t made a difference.
