What Causes Nights Sweats After Decreasing Estrogel Dosage?

I am a 57 year old woman who has had a complete hysterectomy at the age of 41. I have been using Estrogel ever since. At the beginning 2 pumps a day but over the past 8 years or so I only use one pump a day. I have been trying to decrease by using it every other day and I have even stopped for a week. After that time I begin to have night sweats and my mood is something to be desired.What can I do as I feel I have been on this medication for 16 years already.

Nothing to worry about, You should eventually get back to normal.

Take multi vitamin and calcium supplements
Do consult a gynecologist if symptoms worsen
