hi my daughter had her left tube removed and had bin trying for ages to get pregunant again finily it happened and sez she was fine we were to go on holiday tomorow and to make sure she went to hospital tonite and has bin kept in to get a scan tomorrow sez they couldnt see she tinks she is 5weeks now im up the wall that its another etopic could this happen to the other tube also
1. She may have ovulated late and the pregnancy is still too early (small) to be seen on the ultrasound. 2. If a woman has ectopic pregnancy, the chance of recurrence in the other tube is 1 in 10. So there is a possibility that it could be ectopic pregnancy.Your daughter's doctor may do serial blood beta HCG hormone test at an interval of 48 hours to see if it is ectopic pregnancy again ( in normal pregnancy the hormone level rises by more than 60% in 48 hours). 3. Biochemical pregnancy-The pregnancy begins but stops growing very early such that sac is not seen on ultrasound. I hope I have answered to your concerns.
