What Causes Noise In Ear After Undergoing Myringoplasty?

I had a myringoplasty on thursday. On saturday evening i developed a constant white noise in the ear that won't go away. it get's better or worse depending on what I'm doing. I've read elsewhere that this might be a result of the dressing. is this true?

Yes it is possible because of the dressing or the ointment which they must have put in your ear after surgery. please dont worry , this is pretty common and is a part of the healing process. The noise will disappear in 5-6 days.
