What Causes Noise In The Ear After Swallowing?

i have been hearing a noise in my ears whenever i swallowed everyday for two years. My doctor said there was nothing wrong, but i m getting concerned since it has been two years, and there are no signs of improvement. I looked online and i seem to have mucus in my eustachian tubes. How can i get rid of this mucus? I am an 18 year old female. Height: 5 feet 2 in. Weight: 115 pounds.

Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

Every time you swallow the Eustachian tube opens and allows air to pass from the middle of your ear to the back of your nose.
Eustachian Tube Dysfunction can be caused by large adenoids, allergies, or a cold.
This dysfunction can cause crackling or popping noises in our ears.
I recommend to use an antihistamine such as Cetirizine 10 mg daily to treat the symptoms.
