Hello. I am having a rather debilitating problem with chafing and irritation after I defecate. Defecation itself is not a problem, only afterwards. And once it starts it does not stop. The only answer I have found is to make a toilet paper "pad" and tuck it tight to the rectum. The problem is that this isn't an answer, it is only dealing with the effects. I truly need to get my life back. What could possibly be causing this problem and what can be done to make this stop?
