Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My left thigh leg has been twitching non stop. I can feel a strong pulse when I put my hand over it. I am a diabetic, and I have coronary artery disease. shoul I be worried. My sugars will not go Anyblower that 330 the highest it s been is 490. This has been going on for a week now.
As this twitchings can be a result of muscle weakness and disturbed nerve supply. its nothing to worry as it can be corrected by exercises.
Exercises help to improve the cardiac function, improve the muscle strength, reduce the blood glucose levels etc. with exercises like - core stability, hip muscle strengthening, static quadriceps and static hamstring you should do well without much trouble. start with low-intensity exercises.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
