What Causes Nose Bleeding With Vomiting?

my daughter in law started this morning with big blood cloths coming out of her nose. said some of it was about the size of and looked like uncooked chicken livers and some about the size of a pea. It s been more than 14 hrs the dr said and packed her nose. but we are trying to get her to go to the hospital. she just keeps bleeding. And the last few weeks everytime she eats she is vomiting it back up.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi. Read and understood your query and history.
The cause of vomiting and bleeding from nose may be altogether different and unrelated.
I would advise the following:
First of all take her to the ENT surgeon for nasal endoscopy ,cautery and whatever procedure be needed for investigations and proper treatment of the epistaxix.
Once this is settled, upper GI endoscopy for vomiting
All the relevant blood tests including liver functions.kidney functions coagulation profiles.
The treatment will cure her problems.
I find this answer helpful
