What Causes Nose Bleeding?

Hi my name is shampaine I am 17 and my nose bleeds ALOT only out the left nostril I was told to hold my head back somebody else said forward. Its to the point where I have to ring my towel out five to six times casue theres so much blood on it nd I havent had my period this month yet I had the bloating nd a cramp about twice this started two weeks before the end of last month it also stop last sunday nd started this passing saturdy

Emergency management in cases of acute epistaxis includes ice packs, applying pressure by closing nostrils and bending down breathing through the mouth for 2_5minutes.Uncomplicated epistaxis usually stops by this manoeuvre .If doesnt you might need packing of nose.Once bleeding is stopped first investigation to perform in your case would be an endoscopic examination of nose as it is unilateral.Consult an Ent doctor for the same.
