What Causes Numb Fingers With Pinkish Red Color When Pressed Suggest?

I am a54 yrs old post menopausal lady. Lately i have been feeling numbness in my fingers at night. on pressing the finger tips they appear to be pinkish red. there is some pain in the knuckles also. what could be the reason for this. Kindly let me knlw. I have no problem like BP sugar etc at present. Thanks
