What Causes Numbness And Pain In The Fingers While Suffering From Arthritis?

My mom is 77 years old and has severe arthritis. For the last week the pain has been extreme in her hands. It s worst at night and she can t sleep due to the pain. Tonight she said her fingers are cold and numb along with painful. She has an appointment with an arthritis doctor on Tuesday but I wanted to make sure the cold numb symptoms are normal. She took her blood pressure and it was 180/84.

She may be suffering from peripheral neuropathy with uncontrolled hypertension, she may need to know what is the cause for neuropathy like B12, folic acid deficiency or infection or diabetes, lead toxicity etc..
Please consult your neurophysician and get it done blood investigation with nerve conduction study. Use Pregabalin once daily for five days.
If symptoms not improved, please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
