General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

The numbness and tingling around the ear can be related to a nerve damage.
An ear infection, trauma, a tumor, or fluid or an object in the ear such as wax buildup can cause it.
A physical examination by an ENT specialist and an Xray or CT scan is needed for further evaluation.

Hope my answer was helpful.

If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!
