Hi,I am Dr. Andrew Rynne (Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My mother-in-law is 88 years old, and is complaining hat her tongue goes numb every day around 3 PM, then the numbness goes up the side of her head and down to her shoulder. She has had at least one mini stroke, and she s wondering if this could be repeats?
In the case of mini-stokes (TIAs) it is unlikely that the symtoms would recur at the same time every day. However, in view of her symptoms, it would be an idea to get her seen by her GP.
