What Causes Numbness In Fingers After Drinking Beer?
Hi i am a male 42 yrs old. I have been drinking excessively for the last 5 years.Currently when i get up after a nights sleep i find that the entire 5 fingers are numb. the degree of numbness varies. I drink around 2-3 beers every night before going to sleep. How serious is this? i also smoke 15-20 cigarettes a day.

Neurological problems like numbness and tingling are common in people with alcohol related problems due to deficiency of vitamins. If your symptoms are transient, then vitamin supplementation will help but in later stages, the nerve damage may be irreversible.
