What Causes Numbness In Fingers Post Carpal Tunnel Surgery?
I had carpal tunnel surgery in July. Ever since I still have numbness in 3 fingers. It seems like I have an electric current in the forearm that runs up to the upper arm. It will also generate to the thumb. I had a new nerve test and was informed nothing was found.

It depends on the duration for which nerve was compressed that is longer the duration more the time it takes to recover.
You may have vitamin B12 shots/pills along with prescription only drug pregablin.

After going through your query I concluded that you got carpal tunnel syndrome, for which you got surgery. Unfortunately your symptoms are still there.There are two possibilities. First is that your release of carpal tunnel is not proper so you may require again a revisit operation. Second possibility is compression in cervical spine. Nerve conduction should have distinguished the cause. But it is unfortunate that nerve conduction test has nothing. You can discuss with your doctor about it. Hope I have answered your query.
