I have had numbness in my right hand for about a month or so. It comes and goes and usually comes when I am using that hand or the opposite when I am sleeping it goes so numb that it keeps me awake and is actually quite painful. I have seen my doctor and he thinks it is related to arthritis that I have but no other place that is irate by my arthritis is affected.

please do the following 1. use wrist splints, especially while sleeping 2. avoid bending your wrists too much 3.avoid keeping your wrists under your head while sleeping 4. give rest to to your wrists, avoid typing too much on your computer or mobile phone. 5. apply ice packs4-5 times a day 6.use a mild analgesic like acetaaminophen
it will take 3-4 weeks for complete recovery.
