Hi, I am a 32 year old women and within the past few weeks (maybe 2/3 weeks) I am experiencing numbness and coldness in my lower left leg around the front of the leg. At night I have started get leg cramps which I never have had before. I do smoke also. I do eat healthy most of the time and exercise 3/4 times a week but I haven t done any exercise within the last month. Could this be a reason for this sudden numbness? I am really starting to get worried about this. Please help.
Hi Welcome to healthcaremagic I have gone through your query and understand your concern. There are many possibilities but most commonly it may be due to vitamin and trace elements deficiencies. You are advised to take vitamin and trace elements specially vitamin D3. You can get your vitamin D3 and vitamin B12 levels. If low you can take their supplements. Next possibility is that as you are smoker you should look for your circulation by doing arteriography to look for this. You should also get your blood sugar to know your diabetic status. You can discuss with your doctor about it. Hope your query get answered. If you have any clarification then don't hesitate to write to us. I will be happy to help you. Wishing you a good health. Take care.
