What Causes Numbness In Limbs And Arms?
Hello, I was just released from the hospital after a blackout. I have severe MVP and so, even medicated, these are pretty frequent. My concern is that right after I came to, my face and limbs were numb and tingly . Its gone for the most part, but my right arm is still pretty near useless. Its difficult to move my fingers and it feels asleep . I landed on my left side when I went down and the hospital provided no answers.

The numbness has to be carefully addressed for any embolic/thrombotic phenomenon.Investigations like baseline ecg and CT scan brain has to be done to evaluate any neurological cause involved.A screening 2 dimensional echo can be useful to rule out intracardiac thrombus.Drugs like heparin and warfarin will help to improve vascular pathology if any.Consult your cardiologist for further query.
