Internal Medicine Specialist, Dr. Abdullah's Response
Hello, thank you for putting your trust in our site, my name is Dr.Soliman and I will be glad to answer your question. This is mostly caused by injury to the siatic nerve by the the needle injection itself, maybe the person who gave it to you didn't give it to you properly in the upper outer quadrant, but this is not a dangerous condition and the injury will heal by itself by time but you may take vit B12 supplementation to accelerate the healing of the nerve.
I hope this answer fulfill your query and if you are satisfied with the answer please consider giving 5 star rating , and feel free to ask any additional questions and I will gladly help you with an answer.
